Architecture and culture
Culture also manifests itself in the many churches of the municipality of Holstebro. Here, you will find both the traditional village church and the modern, unconventional church. The churches reflect more than 1000 years of church architecture. The oldest churches date back to the 12th century, and the latest church was built in 1982.

A new, big project in Holstebro is called Town Space, Stream and Culture. The purpose of the project is to create a spatially more coherent town centre with recreational areas along the stream and to enable cultural experiences. The idea is for Storå to be an integral part of life in town and to transform what used to be a less interesting part of town into a beautiful and welcoming facade.
