A charming and welcoming town of culture

In combination with the many shops, cafes and eating places, art in the street scenery creates a charming and welcoming atmosphere.

Water is flowing trough the town centre, and in the beautiful surroundings of the stream you’ll find recreational areas where you can relax and let thoughts flow.

If you are looking for cultural input, you are more than welcome to make use of our extensive cultural offer. Holstebro Music Theatre has a broad repertoire including musicals, drama and concerts. Live music cafés around town offer more intimate cultural experiences.

A number of interesting museums are also at your disposal, among which Holstebro Museum, Holstebro Art Gallery, and the Jens Nielsen & Olivia Holm Møller Museum.

In Holstebro, we say that culture thrives because there is always someone to water it. Holstebro’s cultural revolution began in the middle of the 1960’s with the purchase of the Giacometti sculpture “Woman on Chart”. Slender and delicate, she is today the symbol of Holstebro, a town of culture with a broad scope of activities.
